Seizing strategic opportunities, solidifying industrial foundation: Shanxi Provincial Governor Lü Fuan and his delegation inspect the ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base.
On July 7th, Blue Foan, Deputy Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Governor, Lu Dongliang, Member of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Datong Municipal Party Committee, Yu Yingjie, Deputy Governor of Shanxi Province, Zhang Qiang, Mayor of Datong City, and other leaders visited the ZDATA Green Big Data Industry Base for research and inspection. ZDATA Chairman Zhou Kang, CEO Dong Yan, Vice Presidents Ma Chao, Red Cedar China Partner Xu Qing, and customer representatives attended the event. Zhou Kang and Dong Yan provided detailed reports on project planning, construction, production, operation, and industrial ecological construction, discussing ZDATA's contribution to the high-quality development of Datong, empowerment in the "Dual Carbon" action, consolidating the foundation of Datong's data industry cluster, and supporting Shanxi and Datong in building a national hub node.
Practicing the green and low-carbon concept to create a Green Cloud Valley
The "Dual Carbon" target path involves increasing the proportion of new energy use, reducing traditional energy output to lower carbon emissions, and improving energy efficiency to reduce consumption, forming a virtuous cycle of energy recovery and utilization. ZDATA has consistently focused on the development concept of "building a beautiful Shanxi with green and low-carbon construction, highlighting the color of high-quality development." The company continuously optimizes and integrates resources on the energy supply side, energy demand side, and energy storage side of the data center, aiming to make the project a model for a "zero-carbon" big data park in China.
To strengthen the hard power in energy demand management, ZDATA continuously upgrades the park's energy-saving system scheme. The project reserves access points for new energy and frequency-regulated energy storage facilities, exploring a new development path of "integrated generation, grid, load, and storage" and "multi-energy complementarity." This approach aims to provide solid energy support, release more space for carbon reduction, and help build Datong into a "Green Cloud Valley."
Igniting ecological fission effects to support industrial development
After entering the ZDATA Green Big Data Industry Base to understand the installed capacity and application services, Governor Blue expressed the hope that companies would prioritize Shanxi as a key area for business layout, strengthen upstream and downstream support, and jointly promote the development of the big data industry cluster. As a leading enterprise in the Shanxi big data industry chain, ZDATA is committed to playing a leading role in "one enterprise leading one chain, one chain leading one area." The company continuously strengthens the aggregation effect of upstream and downstream industries. By cooperating with upstream and downstream enterprises such as Seagate Technology, Huawei, Lenovo, Blue Cloud Technology, ZDATA fully supports Datong in creating a large-scale industry cluster with strong computing power, algorithm support for data application services, research and development of liquid-cooled servers, and the construction of a large-scale data computing center as its core, forming a front line and national platform for the coordinated innovation system of integrated big data centers.
Seizing opportunities in the "Dual Carbon" initiative and coordinating strategic layout
Governor Blue fully affirmed the overall planning, construction, and achievements of the ZDATA Green Big Data Base project and emphasized Datong's outstanding advantages in resources, location, and industries. He urged leveraging existing advantages and cultivating new ones, improving data industry planning and layout, strengthening basic support, and accelerating integration into the "Dual Carbon" initiative. He called for active declaration of national hub node cities, activating new dynamics of the digital economy.
Representing ZDATA, Zhou Kang stated that Datong has become the largest gathering place for big data computing industries in Shanxi. It has the industrial foundation to declare and build a national hub node. As an enterprise that has been in the Datong big data industry for many years, ZDATA will fully leverage Datong's abundant energy resources. The project will be a crucial national data connection point, leading the formation of a new model and path for integrated development of "new energy + big data." Simultaneously, the company will actively undertake the industrial demand for the digital economy in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, vigorously promote Shanxi as a national hub node of the integrated computing power network, and create a coordinated innovation system and a national platform for integrated big data centers.
In recent years, ZDATA has focused on the "Six New" breakthrough strategy of the municipal party committee and government. Leveraging the ZDATA Green Big Data Industry Base, the company strengthens the construction of the industrial ecological chain, fully integrates into Shanxi's "one core, two poles, and multiple points" big data development pattern, and enhances investment and resource traction in intelligent manufacturing, research and development of liquid-cooled servers and storage technologies, high-speed optical cable links, server recycling, new energy construction, etc. This strengthens the regional green digital economic industry ecosystem, providing acceleration.
ZDATA, based in Datong and other project locations, collaborates with the China Communications Enterprise Association and various universities, establishing research institutes for IPv6, zero carbon, and industrial development. The company conducts joint research on key core technologies, talent cultivation, and cooperative cooperation, jointly building an "computing power network infrastructure operation training integration base." This creates an integrated model for industry, research, and education, achieving talent cultivation through projects and retaining talent through projects. ZDATA aims to build three versatile strongholds: a "training and training base + talent empowerment base + industrial supporting services" stronghold. By combining talent with computing power, it empowers regional circular economy, providing Shanxi Province and Datong City with digital wings for economic transformation and takeoff.
"Constantly changing and continuously renewing" is the philosophy for the future. ZDATA will continue to refine its technological capabilities, focus on cutting-edge technology and industry pain points, gather more ecological cooperation resources, actively explore green computing paths, stimulate innovative vitality of computing and data elements, generate new industry technologies, innovate industrial models, and support the high-quality development of Shanxi's digital economy.
