The project adopts "green and low-carbon" as its design concept, implementing high-level standards in the design, planning, and engineering operation processes. It demonstrates "hard" strength in green management by using advanced technological solutions and energy-saving innovations. Moreover, the supporting construction of the "Integrated Source-Grid-Load-Storage" system will better optimize and integrate local power sources and power grid resources, improve the level of renewable energy development and absorption in data centers, and increase the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption. This will enhance the efficiency of the power system operation and leverage the flexible adjustment capability on the load side.

The project has received attention and support from leaders at various levels of the provincial and municipal government. During the inspection of the ZDATA Green Data Industry Base, key provincial leaders set development goals for ZDATA to build a "Green Cloud Valley" in Datong.

To achieve the "Green Cloud Valley" vision and the "zero-carbon" goal, ZDATA will continue to invest in new energy sources such as photovoltaics, wind power, and energy storage. It will upgrade and break through technologies that reduce consumption in areas such as water use, power supply, and data center cooling.
